Sri Lanka night in Davos Switzerland

A Sri Lanka night was held for the first time to showcase Sri Lankan cuisine, tourist attractions and culture on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. 

A Sri Lankan business delegation participated at Davos events with the President. The President addressed several high level events including three business forums. The highlight was the Sri Lanka night – a Networking Reception inclusive of Sri Lankan buffet organised at the mountain at the “Fuxägufer in Davos. 

The event was organised by the Swiss-Asian Business Chamber and the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka. President’s Chief of Staff Sagala Rathnayake and Swiss-Asian Chamber Asian Chapter President Mark Dangel spoke at the event and highlighted Sri Lanka’s recovery and potential for investment and tourism. The event was sponsored by John Keells, Aitken Spence PLC and Hayleys, with the support of Sri Lanka Tourism.
